Educating children about the nutritional content required to eat a balanced diet can be a challenge. That’s why MindFuel, formerly known as the Science Alberta Foundation, turned to SDMG to help produce an interactive game with the goal of increasing awareness about food, nutrition and food intolerances for children between the ages of eight and ten.
SDMG created a custom game concept to help reach the learning objectives set forth by MindFuel. This game was made possible by our local Alberta Beef Producers and the Alberta Livestock and Meat Agency (ALMA).
In addition to creating the character designs, music, game mechanics and the scoring system, SDMG was also able to create the game in HTML 5 so that Nora’s Nutritional Challenge would be compatible with mobile phones – the first mobile friendly game produced for MindFuel.
