In partnership with LG, Best Buy was looking for a Superbowl themed promotion to engage their rewards members.
SDMG conceived a fun Superbowl game concept that is reminiscent of an old time fair game, both in design and in prize incentive. Best Buy rewards members could log-in to the LG Pass to Win contest and throw the old pigskin at their receivers for a chance to win gift cards and entries for one of three home theatre systems. It was simple enough to appeal to casual online gamers but tricky enough to be fun and challenging.
If the goal was engagement, SDMG scored a touchdown. 2014 is the third year we have run this contest, and it continues to be a success.
