Project Details

Opportunity:

Over 700 team members at 40 hotels across Western Canada were out of touch with their head office located in Drumheller, Alberta.  Without a central repository for data, it was nearly impossible for Canalta’s operating team to ensure consistent, accurate communication of policies, procedures, news and brand standards to each hotel.

Solution:

Implement an Intranet system that manages all internal communications and key work flows.  Create a single source of truth for files, onboarding processes, authentication and scheduling.

Result:

Canalta Hotels has seen a shift in culture where the uninformed are now informed and team members now have more of the tools they need to be successful in their roles.  Over 4,333 logins to the system were tracked in the month of May, 2015 alone.
